Sometimes it’s genetics, sometimes it’s the experiences you had.
That’s why we think that mass-standardized products can’t provide the comfort that we need and deserve, if we are all different how comes we use identical products?
Reality suggests that any part of our body is unique in its own standing, we’re walking snowflakes (think about unlocking your phone with Face ID or using your retina/ your voice, think about the way you sit or walk – those are all unique traits of your body
You can get made-to-measure clothing or shoes or furniture but, until now, you couldn’t have made-to-measure mice, even if you might use one every day for (approximately) half of your waking time.
We calculated that our team members spend 7h per day, on a monthly average, using a computer mouse for work and fun
It’s a staggering 2.500 hours yearly total count, equal to 106 full days.
With the rise of Web3, we can expect this figure to grow even more as we get engaged with new platforms, services, and content.
Having considered that, it was only logical to focus our efforts on developing the best possible mouse for long-hours users.
Our first product is a limited-edition Bio-shaped mouse (inspired by the work of A. Amigo) that will change the way you use your PC both for gaming and work purposes
We just need some simple metrics of your hand and we’re able to automatically convert your measures and shapes into a unique set of parameters (as unique as your fingerprint).
Those data will be the foundation of our bio-shaping design process.
It may be impossible, for a traditional injection-moulding manufacturer, to produce unique pieces but, leveraging on the huge progress made by 3D printing technology, we are able to do it consistently.
We’re not just going to offer a new kind of personalization; in the future, using 3D printing, we’ll also be able to lower the ecological footprint of our production.
Connecting with a printing shop geographically close to our customers we can send our files/instruction for free and in seconds – we’re moving bits instead of physical products, saving on pollution and delivery times
Every object you use is first conceived on software (CAD), tested or prototyped and then manufactured.
We are (unfortunately) used to standardized shapes and measures, meaning that you will get the same product as everyone else, disregarding all the slight differences in our bodies.
Parametric design makes a change in this process because it allows designing through variable functions instead of fixed surfaces and points.
We have built a variable mouse model that will receive the customer parameters and gives us back a custom-made mouse in seconds.
Combining this design process with 3D printing manufacturing we can offer custom-made products to everyone at a competitive pricing and faster, compared to traditional customization options
Our onboarding process starts with an interactive form (with questions about grip, comfort and overall preferences) and a simple photo of your hand. We will use those info to recommend a selection of shapes that will then be fitted to the specific user’s hand
Once the shell is post-processed we assemble the whole product. We make sure that QC is tight and that the mouse is ready to be used as soon as you take it out of the box
Let us know what could be improved and we’ll make sure to update your profile for future purchases – we are working on the product non-stop and we’re confident that if you will buy again from us in the future you will get a better, more advanced, more fitting product every time
